Get your food portions and your health under control!

Did you know that food portions are the most important element of any meal if you want to maintain your health and lose weight?

Taking the two example questions above first, you should know that the former question is more important than the latter. You can eat as many fruits and vegetables as you like but nuts contain fats that can damage your health if you eat too many. So fruits and vegetables are your food priority.

Some other tips.

  • You can focus on what you are eating if you are concentrating on your food and not being distracted. For example, if you are watching TV then it will be much easier to lose control over portion size.
  • You will also be more aware by using smaller plates. This will make a psychological difference and encourage you to eat enough to fill you up but not to an uncomfortable level.
