A quick Internet search will yield a list of weight loss programs that are available for anyone to take advantage of today. In fact, you could possibly find a hundred different diets if you look hard enough. However, there are six or seven different that can be considered the best weight loss programs available.
Comparing weight loss programs is anything but simple. In fact, it can be incredibly difficult because it is rare that you will find sufficient information about the pros and cons of each in the same place… or at last you could not until this list of weight loss programs.
Diet-to-Go
Diet-to-Go is one of the more convenient easy weight loss programs, that requires dieters to eat specific frozen foods that are delivered via the company’s own diet delivery service. The meals are easy to prepare with a microwave or an oven, taking just thirty minutes to prepare. But it does limit your choices if you like to cook fresh food yourself or buy food at a restaurant. It is also high on the list of weight loss programs in terms of expense with it costing $121 a week, or $18 a day.
Weight Watchers
Weight Watchers is one of the more globally popular options on the list of weight loss programs. Many people think it is a relatively easy program to follow because all you have to do is count points. However, for me that is more complex than it sounds if you are not eating Weight Watchers’ own foods and cook at home You have to convert data into points and this means gathering all of the labels and controlling ingredient amounts specifically. Despite this hassle, it is affordable at $17.95 per month for meetings.
Medifast
Medifast is one of the easy weight loss programs that are based on meal replacement. The company uses a low GI (glycemic index) formula to create their products and so make sure that they contain the correct amount of protein and fiber so you do not feel hungry. However, the calorie content of this program is questionable. It is based on an 800 to 1000 calories per day diet plan, which is not for me and too low to be healthy. It seems like the plan does not include enough colorful fruits and vegetables. It is also expensive at $75 per week, or $10 per day. A shake costs $2.20 and it is not even personalized! If I compare this to the Herbalife Shapeworks shake at $1.10 I will see just how expensive it is.
5 Factor Diet
The 5 Factor Diet is one of the best on the list of weight loss programs but it is also one of the hardest and requires a lot of will power. It is nutritionally based and includes all food groups as a result, in addition to exercise, recipes and meal plans that are based on low and medium GI foods. In short, it is designed to help you to change your lifestyle in order to stay healthy in the long term. However, there are some weaknesses. For example, you have to eat every three to four hours. If you cannot do that then this option on the list of weight loss programs is not for you. You will also have to eat bison, smoked salmon and ostrich on the plan, all of which are expensive and difficult to get a hold of. As such, this plan is by no means hassle free.
The Master Cleanse or Lemonade Diet
The Master Cleanse Diet is effectively a detox program and is considered to be one of the most effective detox diets around. However, it has the highest failure rate on the list of weight loss programs. 99% of all dieters that try this plan go off it and it is easy to see why. Not only do you have to starve but you also have to drink a mixture that is made up of cayenne pepper, maple syrup and lemon juice. There are benefits to the Master Cleanse diet but it is unlikely that you will stick to eating absolutely no solid food for long.
Glycemic Impact Diet
The Glycemic Impact Diet is one of the best on the list of weight loss programs, but not easy. It is essentially an online diet so you get plenty of support at your fingertips but it is very difficult and many people fall off it. The diet incorporates diet plans and recipes as well as exercise and is designed to teach you about GI foods and glycemic load to ensure that you continue to eat well into the future. It does seriously restrict what you can eat though because it replaces all simple carbs with complex ones. Could you live without sugar and white flour forever? If you cannot then now is the time to dismiss this option.
Herbalife
Herbalife is undoubtedly one of the best weight loss programs. It is designed to specifically achieve a certain effect, whether that is to lose weight, gain weight or enhance the health of the body and reshape your shape.
It based on cellular nutrition and formulated by doctors and scientists. It offers proven results, as more than a million people around the world will testify.
The program itself is highly affordable, costing between $85 and $210 per month depending on your wants and needs. As it is a personalized program it offers:
and it is easy to stick to and always achieves the desired results.
As you can see, for most people and for me the Herbalife program is the top option on the list of weight loss programs. It is affordable, scientifically proven and has a huge following. However, you now have all of the information you need at your fingertips to decide which option would work best for you so be sure to choose the right one today.
